Our journey began in the 2023–24 season when Salway FC withdrew from the league. Fast forward to the start of the 2024–25 season, AS Athletic was facing challenges with squad depth, while Salway were exploring a return but struggling to assemble a team.

Recognising an opportunity, I reached out to Salway’s representative and proposed a merger. The initial plan was to co-manage the club alongside Salway’s coach, Bear. However, due to differing approaches, Bear stepped away, and I continued leading the newly formed team under the name AS Salway.

AS Salway represents a fresh chapter built on collaboration, resilience, and a shared passion for the game.
