About the League

The IDCFL is a church-based grassroots football league in East London, founded over 25 years ago.
It provides structured, competitive football for church teams, combining faith, fellowship, and sport.

League Rules & Regulations

All fixtures are played under FA Laws of the Game.

Player eligibility and registration must be completed before participation.

Discipline and conduct are overseen by the league committee in line with FA guidelines.

Safeguarding

The IDCFL is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all players.

All clubs must appoint a Club Welfare Officer.

Coaches and volunteers are expected to complete appropriate FA safeguarding training.

Any safeguarding concerns should be reported to the League Safeguarding Officer.

Season Format

Matches are played weekly during the season (September – May).

Most league games are played at: 📍 Wanstead Flats, Aldersbrook Road, London E12 5HH

Kick-off times are typically Saturday mornings.

Players and visitors are encouraged to respect local residents and facilities.
